Luis Machuca, President and CEO, Kryptiq

Luis Machuca is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kryptiq Corporation, a leading provider of interoperability and workflow connectivity solutions for healthcare. Mr. Machuca received his BSEE in 1980 and MSIE in 1981 both from Purdue University. He joined Intel Corp. in 1981 where he spent 15 years. He held a variety of roles in management before becoming co-GM of the OEM Products & Services Division where he established Intel as the #1 motherboard supplier in the world. In 1996 he became the EVP of the NEC Computer Services Division of PB-NEC Corp. In 1999, Mr. Machuca joined eFusion Corp. as President and COO and subsequently merged the company with ITXC. Mr. Machuca currently serves on the Oregon Health & Science University Foundation Board of Trustees, the University of Portland Board of Regents, and the Catholic Charities of Oregon Board of Directors. Mr. Machuca has also served on the Portland Metropolitan Family Services Board of Directors, the Jesuit High School Board of Trustees, the Lifeworks NW Board of Directors, the Boy Scouts of America Cascade Pacific Council Executive Board, and was a finals judge for the 2005, 2006 and 2007 NewVenture Championship business plan competitions sponsored by the University of Oregon’s Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship.

Erik Benson, Managing Director, Voyager Capital

Erik Benson leads Voyager Capital’s Oregon investment team. Prior to joining Voyager in 1998, Mr. Benson held a number of research, business development, and corporate finance roles with both early stage companies and with corporations around the world in the fields of scientific systems, engineering, and software, including: Washington Research Foundation, Perkin-Elmer, Chemical Bank, Koninklijke Van Ommeren, and Metalgesellschaft. Mr. Benson received his BA from Pacific Lutheran University and his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.

Andy Bryant, CAO, Intel

Andy D. Bryant is EVP and Chief Administrative Officer of Intel Corporation. He is responsible for financial operations, human resources, information technology and e-business functions and activities worldwide. Prior to joining Intel, Mr. Bryant held positions in finance at Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation. Bryant holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Missouri and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Kansas.

Debi Coleman, Managing Partner, SmartForest Ventures

Debi Coleman, Managing Partner of SmartForest Ventures, is one of the most recognized female executives in technology management. Ms. Coleman stepped down as Chairman of the Board of Merix Corp. in September 2001, having served as Chair since October 1999. She is perhaps best known for her career achievements with Apple Computer, Inc. where she held the positions of VP of Operations, CFO, and VP Information Systems and Technology. Ms. Coleman graduated from Brown University with a BA in English Literature in 1974 and received her MBA from Stanford University in 1978. She also received an honorary PhD in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1987. Ms. Coleman was named a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute in 1997.

Frank Gill, Private Investor

Frank Gill is a retired Intel Corporation executive. At the time of his retirement from Intel, he was EVP and had held a variety of positions in sales, marketing, product development and manufacturing operations during his 23-year career. Mr. Gill has served as a director of Tektronix since March 1999. Mr. Gill is currently a private investor and a director of Logitech International, which designs, manufactures and markets personal peripherals; Pixelworks, Inc., a provider of semiconductors; and other private companies.

Dr. Charles Kilo, CEO, GreenField Health System

Chuck Kilo, MD is the founder and CEO of GreenField Health System, an emerging network of innovative medical practices that seeks to revitalize medical care as a whole. He attended Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis where he also completed his internal medicine training. After practicing in St. Louis and overseas, Dr. Kilo completed training in infectious diseases and public health at Harvard Medical School.

Bahram Nour-Omid, PhD, Senior Partner, Shelter Capital Partners

Bahram Nour-Omid, PhD has over 20 years of experience with technology companies, including roles as Chairman and Chief Executive of StudioXchange; EVP and a Director of Essentus, Inc.; and founding CTO and a Director of Scopus Technology, Inc. Dr. Nour-Omid is currently a director of Roamware, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions designed to power the global wireless market; Integrated Decision Systems, an industry leader in portfolio management solutions, Isensix, a provider of wireless monitoring systems; and Kryptiq. Dr. Nour-Omid earned a BS from the University of London's Imperial College, and an MS in Structural Engineering, MA in Mathematics and PhD in Computer Simulation from the University of California, Berkeley.
