Kryptiq Partners with Sage Software Healthcare Division to Offer New Web Portal and Secure Messaging
New Intergy by Sage Practice Portal Will Extend Intergy by Sage EHR, Increase Practice Efficiencies and Enhance Patient Care
LAS VEGAS – October 23, 2006 – Strengthening connections between physicians and patients, Kryptiq today announced that Sage Software Healthcare Division will deliver a new, browser-based portal solution that links online patient services offered through practice Web sites directly with Intergy by Sage practice management system version 3.5 and Intergy by Sage EHR 3.5. Powered by Kryptiq, the portal will increase patient access to care and allow physicians and patients to communicate more efficiently, thereby streamlining business processes within the practice.
The Intergy by Sage Practice Portal will integrate directly with Intergy by Sage to enable patients and practices to save time by completing a number of tasks online rather than by phone or in person. Patients will have access to online services, including patient registration, appointment requests, medication renewals and the ability to communicate with their physician or the practice using secure e-mail. In addition, patients will have real-time online access to a summary of their medical records, and can review lab results or complete clinical and administrative forms.
“We partnered with Kryptiq because of its clear leadership position in secure healthcare connectivity,” said Michael Burger, director of clinical product management for Sage Software Healthcare Division. “We expect that Intergy by Sage Practice Portal will offer a valuable service to our customers’ practices – one that patients are increasingly demanding.”
The portal was created through a reseller partnership between Kryptiq, a market leader in connectivity solutions for leading healthcare systems, and Sage Software Healthcare Division, formerly Emdeon Practice Services. Kryptiq’s award-winning and proven technology is currently being used in leading medical practices, integrated delivery networks, and health plans throughout the United States.
“As electronic health records adoption continues to grow, practices are looking for ways to extend the value of their investments beyond the walls of the clinic,” said Jim Coppa, director of product marketing at Kryptiq. “Our partnership with Sage Software Healthcare Division will enable many more practices nationwide to benefit from the business efficiencies of moving key workflows from paper and phone to online patient portals and secure messaging.”
Editor’s Note: Sage Software and Kryptiq will be at the MGMA 2006 Annual Conference. Sage Software is in booth #1109 and Kryptiq is in booth #138 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Oct. 22 - 25. The Intergy Practice Portal will be demonstrated at the Sage Software booth.
