Kryptiq Applauds Steps to Improve Healthcare Efficiency and Patient–Centered Care

Kryptiq Supports Congressman Patrick Kennedy’s Bill to Advance Efficiency and Effectiveness of Physician to Patient Relationship

Portland, Ore.– March 1, 2007 – Kryptiq Corporation, the leading provider of workflow and connectivity solutions for healthcare, today announced its support of Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy’s new version of the Personalized Health Information Act, legislation to promote the use of patient-controlled, Web-based personal health records and secure communications between doctors and their patients. Kryptiq sees this bill as playing a key role in enabling physician offices with internet connections to benefit from IT without major up-front investments. The bill underscores the benefits of solutions like Kryptiq’s connectivity products, in use today by thousands of physicians across the country, to improve patient safety and access to services, reduce healthcare costs, and empower patients to take a greater role in their own health stewardship.
