MedStar Health to Transform Care Collaboration with Kryptiq’s CareManager and Connect IQ Suite
Largest Health System in Baltimore/Washington Licenses Kryptiq’s Solutions to Improve Patient Service and Quality of Care
Portland, Ore.– October 11, 2007 – Kryptiq, the leading provider of next generation healthcare connectivity solutions, announced today that MedStar Health has selected Kryptiq’s CareManager™ and Connect IQ™ Suite to enhance chronic care management and enable secure online communication with patients. MedStar Health is a non-profit, community-based health system serving the Baltimore/Washington region.

MedStar Health has licensed Kryptiq’s CareManager, Connect IQ Secure Messaging, and Connect IQ Patient Portal solutions. CareManager will enable MedStar providers to assess the health of patients with chronic conditions and know what treatment and services each patient needs. Kryptiq’s secure messaging will enable physicians to automate the communication of individual health assessments and recommendations to patients to encourage needed services. Kryptiq’s portal will allow patients to request appointments, access key elements of their medical record, and message with their physicians’ offices online.
