INHS Selects Kryptiq to Connect Regional Health Information System
Kryptiq ClinicalMessenger Facilitates Fluid Exchange of Health Information
PORTLAND, Ore. - May 19, 2005 - Lauded by peers as a preeminent example for Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) success, Inland Northwest Health Services (INHS) of Spokane, Wash., today announced that it is expanding its relationship with Kryptiq Corp. to further its vision for a connected healthcare community. INHS is a non-profit corporation sponsored by Deaconess Medical Center, Holy Family Hospital, Sacred Heart Medical Center and Valley Hospital and Medical Center, and manages medical information for 2.6 million patients across 32 hospitals in Washington and Idaho. By integrating Kryptiq ClinicalMessenger with their existing network of electronic health record (EHR) systems, an entire region of healthcare providers can now share critical patient information where and when it is needed from directly within their EHR.
Kryptiq's ClinicalMessenger solution enables electronic communications of structured patient information among multiple, independent care facilities using separate EHR systems. It integrates messaging capabilities within the EHR application, such as the GE Healthcare Centricity Physician Office electronic medical record in use at all INHS supported hospitals and clinics.

Today, many physicians within the INHS network use Kryptiq products to facilitate electronic referrals and the fluid exchange of information.
Tom Fritz will be speaking at the Second Annual Kryptiq Connectivity Summit on Thursday, May 19 highlighting the INHS case study in connecting communities. The Kryptiq Connectivity Summit was created to explore the latest trends and thinking on healthcare connectivity, interoperability, and transformation. The Summit has attracted national leaders from providers, payers, healthcare IT and public policy.
