Kryptiq highest ranked Software Company in Oregon and SW Washington
PORTLAND, Ore., December 11, 2009 – Kryptiq Corp. received the 4th spot on Oregon’s Most Admired Company listing from the Portland Business Journal yesterday. The company joins other distinguished honorees in the top five, including Intel Corp., Flir Systems Inc., Integra Telecom Inc. and Microsoft Corp. The ranking was determined by the votes of 1,800 CEOs across Oregon.
“This recognition from our business community – and from our growing customer base – is a validation of the critical importance of our work to improve the flow of healthcare data in support of better patient care using familiar technologies like secure email and patient portals,” said Luis Machuca, Kryptiq CEO.
An early leader in the healthcare sector since 2003, Kryptiq is creating a national collaborative network in which physicians, their colleagues and patients can securely share information to improve the quality and cost of healthcare delivery. More than 36,000 physicians at 1,400 healthcare organizations across the country are using its products for secure messaging, patient portals and electronic prescribing.
Kryptiq has seen increased demand for its healthcare collaboration and messaging software in 2009 due to the continued pressure on healthcare organizations to increase efficiency and provide higher customer satisfaction by ensuring patient data can move swiftly and securely in support of patient care. Customers can also use the Connect IQ® suite of products to meet federal incentives for coordinating the care of patients as they transition between various healthcare providers, labs and pharmacies in the course of their treatments.
In Oregon, Kryptiq’s customers include Providence Health System, Samaritan Health Services, The Oregon Clinic, Portland InterHospital Physicians Association and Greenfield Health System.
Based in Hillsboro, Kryptiq employs approximately 80 people nationwide, including 68 in Oregon.
